We’d Love to Meet You Before Baby Gets Here
Becoming a parent for the first time — or the fourth — comes with a mix of excitement and a long list of things to figure out. Choosing your pediatrician shouldn’t add to the stress. At Pediatric & Adult Medicine, we genuinely love meeting expecting families before the due date, and we’ve made it easy to do exactly that.
Two Ways to Meet Us Before Your Baby Arrives
We offer two options for prenatal visits, so you can choose what feels right for you:
Group Prenatal Visit (no charge): On the first Wednesday of each month, we host a relaxed, welcoming group session where expecting parents can meet several of our physicians, ask questions, and spend time with other families in the same exciting season of life. It’s a great way to get a feel for our practice and our team all at once.
One-on-One Prenatal Appointment (fee applies): If you’d prefer private time with a specific physician, we’re happy to set that up. You’ll have a dedicated appointment to ask your questions, get to know your potential doctor, and leave feeling genuinely prepared.
Either way, we’ll walk you through what to expect in those first few weeks and make sure you feel confident long before you’re heading home from the hospital. Give us a call to schedule.
When you’re admitted for delivery, let your OB and the hospital staff know you’ve chosen Pediatric & Adult Medicine. Delivering at another hospital? The staff will notify our office of your baby’s arrival; just be sure to bring your discharge paperwork — including weight, length, APGAR scores, and newborn screenings — to your first appointment with us.
Our physicians have privileges at Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, CA.
What Is a Pediatrician?
A pediatrician specializes in the health and development of children from birth through age 18 — well visits, immunizations, illness care, behavioral concerns, developmental milestones, and everything that comes with raising a child. At Pediatric & Adult Medicine, we see our role as a partnership with your family, not just a clinical relationship. We’re here for the questions, the worries, and the wins.
Your Baby’s First Visit
Once you’re home, call our office to schedule your newborn’s first appointment. Bring your completed new patient forms, insurance card, and any paperwork from the hospital.
We can’t wait to meet your family.
