We’d Love to Meet You Before Baby Gets Here
Becoming a parent for the first time — or the fourth — comes with a mix of excitement and a long list of things to figure out. Choosing your pediatrician shouldn’t add to the stress. At Pediatric & Adult Medicine, we genuinely love meeting expecting families before the due date, and we’ve made it easy to do exactly that.
How to Meet Us Before Your Baby Arrives
We want you to feel completely at ease before your little one arrives.
Prenatal Appointment (fee applies): Interested in a private visit with a specific doctor? We’re happy to set that up. You’ll have dedicated time to ask all your questions and get to know the physician you’d like to be your child’s primary doctor.
During your visit, we’ll walk you through what to expect in those first few weeks, answer any questions you have about our practice, and make sure you feel confident and cared for as you prepare to welcome your new baby.
When you’re admitted for delivery, let your OB and the hospital staff know you’ve chosen Pediatric & Adult Medicine. Delivering at another hospital? The staff will notify our office of your baby’s arrival; just be sure to bring your discharge paperwork — including weight, length, APGAR scores, and newborn screenings — to your first appointment with us.
Our physicians have privileges at Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, CA.
What Is a Pediatrician?
A pediatrician specializes in the health and development of children from birth through age 18 — well visits, immunizations, illness care, behavioral concerns, developmental milestones, and everything that comes with raising a child. At Pediatric & Adult Medicine, we see our role as a partnership with your family, not just a clinical relationship. We’re here for the questions, the worries, and the wins.
Your Baby’s First Visit
Once you’re home, call our office to schedule your newborn’s first appointment. Bring your completed new patient forms, insurance card, and any paperwork from the hospital.
We can’t wait to meet your family.
